STORM FOX

You pilot a hover tank made of light — fast, fragile, and slippery.

They send tanks made of iron — slow, heavy, and armored where you are aiming.

You will not win from the front. That is the whole game.

Slide around them. Find the side the armor does not cover — the rear on a LV1,

the flanks on a LV2, the four faces of the fortress — and put a shot into it

before their turret finishes tracking you.

---

WHAT IT IS

A short arcade campaign: six battles, about five minutes end to end.

No score. No upgrades. No second loop. Just a clock and your line through it.

Everything on screen is drawn as lines, in the color rules of the Apple II

hi-res screen — where a line's direction decides its color, and the letters

of the HUD follow the same rule as the tanks.

---

HOW TO PLAY

  ARROWS   drive and turn

SPACE    fire (one shot per second — make it count)

Your nose is your gun. Aiming and steering are the same stick.

Shots inherit your sideways drift, so lead your target when you slide.

Watch the enemy turret. It swings three times slower than you move.

That swing is your warning — and your invitation.

White marks are armor. Colored marks are the weak point.

Hit one enemy down and you get a life back: attacking is how you heal.

---

WHAT YOU ARE FIGHTING

LV1   One turret, free-turning. The rear is safe — and soft.

LV2   Two turrets, but each only swings 70°. The flanks are the answer.

BOSS  A fortress with four turrets and four weak points, one per face.

Break a face and it calls in escorts. Break all four and it falls.

NOTES

Runs in the browser. Click once to start (the browser needs it for sound).

Keyboard required — PC only, no touch controls.

Best time is kept while the page is open.

This is a test release (v0.9). Feedback on feel, difficulty and readability

is exactly what I am looking for.

Made with Pyxel. Music: a fragment of Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain

King" (public domain), arranged for two square-wave channels.
